Your Data, Your Control

At STAKS (developed by Panoramix LLC), we believe you should have complete control over your personal data. This Data Management Portal provides comprehensive information on how to view, modify, delete, and control how your data is used and shared.

Your Rights: Under privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and control your personal data. We make it easy to exercise these rights.

1. View & Download Your Data

1.1 In-App Data Access

You can view most of your data directly within the STAKS app:

  • Profile Information: Profile → Settings → Account → View Profile
  • Trading History: Portfolio → History tab
  • Practice Mode Data: Practice Mode → History
  • Price Alerts: Alerts tab → View all alerts
  • Watchlists: Markets → Watchlists
  • Achievements: Profile → Achievements
  • Settings & Preferences: Profile → Settings

1.2 Request Complete Data Export

To download a complete copy of all your data:

Include:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your STAKS account
  • Confirmation of your identity (we may ask security questions)

Response Time: Within 30 days, you'll receive a secure download link to a JSON file containing all your data

1.3 What Data You'll Receive

Your data export will include:

  • ✅ Account information (email, username, profile details)
  • ✅ Trading history and transaction records
  • ✅ Practice mode trading data
  • ✅ Price alerts and notifications
  • ✅ Watchlists and favorites
  • ✅ Custom trading strategies
  • ✅ Achievements, badges, and league rankings
  • ✅ App settings and preferences
  • ✅ Device and usage data (anonymized where applicable)
  • ✅ Privacy and consent preferences

Format: Data is provided in JSON format for easy portability to other services.

2. Modify & Update Your Data

2.1 Update Account Information

You can modify your account information directly in the app:

📱 In-App Updates

  • Email Address: Profile → Settings → Account → Change Email
  • Password: Profile → Settings → Account → Change Password
  • Display Name: Profile → Edit Profile → Display Name
  • Profile Picture: Profile → Edit Profile → Change Photo
  • Phone Number: Profile → Settings → Account → Phone Number

2.2 Update Preferences & Settings

Customize your app experience:

  • Notification Preferences: Settings → Notifications → Configure alerts
  • Display Settings: Settings → Display → Theme, language, currency
  • Privacy Settings: Settings → Privacy → Control data sharing (see Section 4)
  • Trading Preferences: Settings → Trading → Default order types, confirmations
  • Security Settings: Settings → Security → 2FA, biometric auth, session management

2.3 Correct Inaccurate Data

If you believe any of your data is inaccurate or incomplete:

Include:

  • Specific data that is inaccurate
  • Correct information
  • Supporting documentation (if applicable)

Response Time: We will review and correct verified inaccuracies within 30 days

3. Delete Your Data

3.1 Full Account Deletion

To permanently delete your STAKS account and all associated data, please visit our dedicated Data Deletion Request page.

You can delete your account:

  • ✅ In-App: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account
  • ✅ Email Request: Send request to privacy@staks.in

3.2 Partial Data Deletion

Delete specific data without closing your account:

  • Trading History: Delete all or specific trading records
  • Practice Mode Data: Delete simulated trading data
  • Price Alerts: Delete saved alerts
  • Watchlists: Delete saved watchlists
  • Achievements: Delete gamification data
  • Custom Strategies: Delete saved trading strategies

For partial deletion, email privacy@staks.in with subject "Partial Data Deletion Request" and specify which data categories to delete.

4. Privacy & Sharing Controls

4.1 In-App Privacy Settings

Control how your data is used and shared:

🔒 Privacy Controls (Settings → Privacy)

  • Analytics & Performance: Toggle to opt-out of analytics data collection
  • Personalization: Control whether your data is used for personalized recommendations
  • Profile Visibility: Control who can see your profile and achievements
  • Trading Activity Visibility: Hide your trading activity from leaderboards
  • Location Services: Enable/disable location-based features
  • Crash Reports: Toggle automatic crash report submission

4.2 Data Sharing Preferences

STAKS shares data with third parties only as necessary to provide services. You can control:

  • Broker Partners: Required for trading functionality (cannot be disabled without losing trading features)
  • Market Data Providers: CoinAPI, Kraken (required for real-time prices)
  • Analytics Providers: Can be disabled in Settings → Privacy → Analytics
  • Marketing Partners: Opt-out of marketing data sharing (see Section 5)

4.3 Consent Management

Review and update your consent preferences:

You can withdraw consent for:

  • Marketing communications
  • Analytics and performance tracking
  • Personalized recommendations
  • Third-party data sharing (where optional)

Note: Some data processing is necessary to provide core app functionality and cannot be opted out of without deleting your account.

5. Marketing & Communication Preferences

5.1 Email Communications

Control what emails you receive from STAKS:

📧 Email Preferences (Settings → Notifications → Email)

  • Transactional Emails: Account security, trade confirmations (cannot be disabled)
  • Product Updates: New features and app updates (can be disabled)
  • Market Insights: Market analysis and trading tips (can be disabled)
  • Promotional Emails: Special offers and promotions (can be disabled)
  • Newsletter: Weekly/monthly newsletters (can be disabled)

Unsubscribe: Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email to opt-out immediately.

5.2 Push Notifications

Manage push notifications:

  • Price Alerts: Settings → Notifications → Price Alerts
  • Trade Confirmations: Settings → Notifications → Trading
  • Account Security: Settings → Notifications → Security (recommended to keep enabled)
  • Promotional Notifications: Settings → Notifications → Marketing
  • Achievement Notifications: Settings → Notifications → Achievements

You can also manage push notifications through your device's system settings (iOS Settings → Notifications → STAKS).

5.3 SMS/Text Messages

If you've opted in to SMS notifications:

  • Opt-Out: Reply "STOP" to any SMS from STAKS
  • In-App: Settings → Notifications → SMS → Disable
  • Email Request: Contact privacy@staks.in

6. Third-Party Data Sharing Controls

6.1 Required Third-Party Services

Essential Services: Some third-party data sharing is required for STAKS to function. These cannot be disabled without losing core functionality.

  • Broker Partners: Execute trades on your behalf (required for trading)
  • Supabase (Backend): Stores your account data and preferences (required)
  • CoinAPI & Kraken: Provide real-time market data (required for price information)
  • Authentication Providers: Google, Apple OAuth for social login (optional - only if you use social login)

6.2 Optional Third-Party Services

You can control sharing with these optional services:

  • Analytics Providers: Settings → Privacy → Analytics → Disable
  • Advertising Partners: Settings → Privacy → Personalized Ads → Disable
  • Social Media Integration: Don't connect social accounts if you don't want to share data

6.3 Do Not Sell My Personal Information (CCPA)

STAKS does not sell your personal information. We do not and will not sell your data to third parties for monetary compensation.

However, under California law, "sale" is broadly defined and may include sharing data for advertising purposes. If you are a California resident and want to opt-out of any data sharing that might be considered a "sale":

7. Data Portability & Export

7.1 Right to Data Portability

Under GDPR and other privacy laws, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

7.2 Export Your Data

Request a complete export of your data:

  • JSON file with all your personal data
  • CSV files for trading history and transactions
  • Secure download link (expires in 7 days)

Processing Time: Within 30 days

7.3 Transfer to Another Service

The exported data is in standard formats (JSON, CSV) that can be imported into other services. We do not currently offer direct data transfer to specific third-party services, but the exported files are compatible with most data import tools.

8. Automated Decision-Making & Profiling

8.1 How We Use Automated Processing

STAKS uses automated processing for:

  • Automated Trading: Executing trades based on your configured triggers (auto-buy, auto-sell)
  • Price Alerts: Sending notifications when price thresholds are met
  • Risk Assessment: Analyzing portfolio risk and suggesting diversification
  • Personalized Recommendations: Suggesting cryptocurrencies based on your trading history
  • Fraud Detection: Identifying suspicious account activity

8.2 Your Rights Regarding Automated Decisions

You have the right to:

  • ✅ Opt-Out: Disable personalized recommendations in Settings → Privacy → Personalization
  • ✅ Human Review: Request human review of automated decisions that significantly affect you
  • ✅ Explanation: Request explanation of how automated decisions are made
  • ✅ Contest: Challenge automated decisions you believe are incorrect

Note: Automated trading features (auto-buy, auto-sell) are user-configured and can be disabled at any time in Settings → Trading → Automated Trading.

9. Children's Privacy

9.1 Age Requirement

STAKS is rated 18+ and is not intended for use by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.

9.2 If We Discover Underage Users

If we discover that a user is under 18:

  • Account will be immediately suspended
  • All personal data will be deleted
  • Remaining funds will be returned (subject to verification)
  • User will be permanently banned from creating new accounts

9.3 Parental Controls

Parents and guardians should:

  • Enable age restrictions on iOS and Android devices
  • Monitor app downloads and usage
  • Use parental control features in App Store and Google Play
  • Monitor bank accounts and credit cards for unauthorized transactions
